Michigan High School Softball - Detroit Country Day bounces Plymouth Christian Academy

The Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI) softball routed the host Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles (Canton, MI), 10-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Yellowjackets (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league bout with a 10-0 record. In their last bout, Notre Dame Prep toppled Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI), 10-1, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of the Lakes for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 6. Plymouth Christian Academy will confront a Lakers squad coming off a 17-7 league loss to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 5-4.
