Indiana High School Softball - Huntington North holds off Eastside

May 5, 2023: Butler, IN 46721

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) and the host Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN), witnessed Huntington North's softball squad tip Eastside by a count of 4-2.

The Vikings now sport a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Elkhart for a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. Huntington North will face a Lions squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Lions record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Eastside moves to 18-1 on the season. The Blazers host Lakeland (LaGrange, IN) to face the Lakers in a Northeast Corner match on Tuesday, May 9. The Lakers go into the match with a record of 9-9. Lakeland lost 7-4 in their recent non-league match against Concord (Elkhart, IN)
