With the triumph, Edwardsville moves its record to 23-4 on the year. The Tigers host East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to clash with the Flyers in a Southwestern game on Tuesday, May 9. The Flyers come into the game with a record of 0-14. East St. Louis lost 21-1 in their recent league game against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL)

In their next game, the Wooden Shoes clash with the Westville Tigers (Westville, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 6. Teutopolis will attempt to move on its 13-11 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 20-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Oakwood (Fithian, IL).
