The Elyria Pioneers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Magnificat Blue Streaks to 1 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Elyria moves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Midview (Grafton, OH) to play the Middies in a Southwestern game on Tuesday, May 9. The Middies come into the game with a record of 12-8. Midview won 17-3 in their recent league game against Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH)

In their next game, the Blue Streaks play the Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 8. Magnificat will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Rangers come into the game with a 12-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH).
