Maine High School Softball - Lake Region bounces Freeport

The crowd at Friday's league match between the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) and the visiting Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME), saw Lake Region's softball squad nip Freeport by a count of 8-1.
The Lakers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yarmouth for a Class B South match on Saturday, May 6. Lake Region will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to York (York, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 1-2.
The Falcons now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fryeburg for a Class B South battle on Monday, May 8.
