Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 25-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rains for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. Grand Saline will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 27-7.
With the loss, S & S Consolidated falls to 28-8 on the campaign.
