The Pentucket Regional routed the host Ipswich Tigers softball squad by a final score of 17-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Vikings go into the Cape Ann Kinney battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Triton Regional notched a victory over Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA), 17-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Manchester Essex for a Cape Ann Baker battle on Monday, May 8. Ipswich will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-6.
