The Jackson Polar Bears softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting South Rebels to 2 in the Polar Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Jackson improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Polar Bears travel to Green (Uniontown, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Federal game on Tuesday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 13-1. Green won 2-1 in their recent league game against Hoover (North Canton, OH)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a Western Reserve game, on Saturday, May 6. South will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 19-4 record after their 23-1 league win over Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).
