In Friday's non-league contest, the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) softball team held off the visiting Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN), by a margin of 11-10.

With the triumph, St. Louis Park moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Orioles travel to Jefferson (Bloomington, MN) to play the Jaguars in a Metro West contest on Monday, May 8. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 6-2.

In their next game, the Skippers play the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a Lake contest, on Monday, May 8. Minnetonka will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
