The York Wildcats softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Yarmouth Clippers to 3 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, York moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to clash with the Raiders in a Class B South game on Saturday, May 6. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 3-4. Fryeburg lost 8-1 in their recent league game against Morse (Bath, ME)
In their next game, the Clippers clash with the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a Class B South game, on Saturday, May 6. Yarmouth will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Lakers come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 8-1 league win over Freeport (Freeport, ME).
