In Monday's non-league game, the host Wayzata Trojans baseball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Blaine Bengals.

The Trojans (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals go into the Lake game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Hopkins nudged Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN), 8-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bengals play the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a Northwest Suburban contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Blaine will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 6-1 league loss to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN).
