The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) and the host Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN), saw St. Michael-Albertville's baseball team gain a win over Elk River by a tally of 11-6.
The Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Edina (Edina, MN). The Hornets enter the Lake battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Edina held off Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN), 12-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Elks face the Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) in a Northwest Suburban battle, on Wednesday, May 7. Elk River will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, MN).
