The Lafayette Lancers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Kirkwood Pioneers to 3 in the Lancers league win on Monday.

The Lancers now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette for a Class 6 District 2 test on Tuesday, May 6.

With the defeat, Kirkwood drops to 14-4 on the year. The Pioneers host MICDS (St. Louis, MO) to clash with the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Rams go into the test with a record of 15-4. MICDS won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Lutheran North (St. Louis, MO)
