In Monday's non-league game, the host Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers.
The Railsplitters (7-14) will now prepare for their game against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 14-12 record. In their last game, Heyworth was overwhelmed by LeRoy (LeRoy, IL), 6-4, in a league game.
Next, the Vipers play the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a Sangamo game, on Tuesday, May 6. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Bullets go into the game with a 9-9 record after their 6-2 league loss to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL).
