The University Liggett Knights baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs to 4 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Ecorse for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6.
With the defeat, Lutheran North drops to 14-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Almont (Almont, MI) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 3-6. Almont lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Richmond (Richmond, MI)
