In Monday's non-league bout, the Maria Carrillo Pumas (Santa Rosa, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), by a tally of 12-2.

Next up, the Pumas encounter the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Santa Rosa, CA) in a North Bay - Oak bout, on Wednesday, May 7. Maria Carrillo will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 11-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA).
