The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) and the visiting Mosinee Indians (Mosinee, WI), saw Merrill's baseball team beat Mosinee by a margin of 10-4.

The Bluejays (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wausau East (Wausau, WI). The Lumberjacks enter the Wisconsin Valley battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Wausau East was overwhelmed by Menomonie (Menomonie, WI), 6-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) in a Great Northern battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Mosinee will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Hatchets enter the battle with a 3-6 record after their 1-0 league win over Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI).
