The Monroe Central Golden Bears baseball squad (Parker City, IN), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN)

With the triumph, Union County moves its record to 4-10 on the season. The Patriots travel to Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Tri-Eastern contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-6. Cambridge City Lincoln won 22-3 in their recent non-league contest against Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN)

The Golden Bears now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 6. Monroe Central will confront a Titans squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Titans record now stands at 0-10.
