The Westran Hornets baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting New Franklin Bulldogs to 1 in the Hornets non-league win on Monday.
The Hornets now hold a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuyler County for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6.
With the defeat, New Franklin drops to 7-10 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sweet Springs (Sweet Springs, MO) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 12-14. Sweet Springs lost 15-13 in their recent non-league test against Jamestown (Jamestown, MO)
