In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Nokomis Warriors.

The River Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Red Eddies go into the Class A North challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Edward Little was overwhelmed by Greely (Cumberland Center, ME), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Nokomis drops to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors host Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Erskine Academy lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME)
