In Monday's league game, the host Northwest Christian Wolverines baseball team scored a close 10-5 victory over the Pope John Paul II Eagles.
The Wolverines (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Ocosta (Westport, WA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Ocosta was overwhelmed by Oakville (Oakville, WA), 9-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles (Tacoma, WA) in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac game, on Tuesday, May 6. Pope John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 19-1 league loss to Crosspoint Christian (Bremerton, WA).
