St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI), 9-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, St. Mary advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI) to battle the Lakers in a non-league match on Monday, May 5. The Lakers come into the match with a record of 5-3.
The Portagers now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Lake for a non-league match on Friday, May 9. Onekama will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 11-2.
