The Whitewater Whippets baseball squad (Whitewater, WI), was edged 13-12 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Stoughton Vikings (Stoughton, WI)

With the triumph, Stoughton moves its record to 6-11 on the season. The Vikings host Edgewood (Madison, WI) to confront the Crusaders in a Badger-Small contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 10-3. Edgewood won 8-1 in their recent league contest against McFarland (McFarland, WI)

The Whippets now possess a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Atkinson for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. Whitewater will confront a Blackhawks squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 6-12.
