The Marquez Gladiators volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Birmingham Patriots to 1 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Monday.

The Gladiators now have a 29-8 record. They play next when they travel to South East for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8. Marquez will play a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Narbonne (Harbor City, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 22-12.

With the loss, Birmingham drops to 4-20 on the campaign.
