In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kennedy Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Mather Rangers.

The Crusaders (14-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Village (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix enter the Chicago Public Red - South challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Little Village beat Lindblom (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers meet the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Green - North challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. Mather will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Silver Streaks enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL).
