The Lafayette Lancers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Kirkwood Pioneers to 9 in the Lancers non-league win on Monday.

The Lancers now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Lafayette will play a Mustangs team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Vianney (Kirkwood, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, Kirkwood drops to 3-6 on the year. The Pioneers host Parkway West (Ballwin, MO) to play the Longhorns in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 0-4. Parkway West lost 13-11 in their recent non-league test against Lafayette (Wildwood, MO)
