In Monday's non-league contest, the host Sacred Heart Valkyries lacrosse squad scored a good 18-1 triumph over the Ballard Bruins.

The Valkyries (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY). The Centurions go into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Christian Academy-Louisville knocked off Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY), 13-5, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bruins meet the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY) in a Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Ballard will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY).
