The Ellsworth Eagles baseball team scored 22 runs and held the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders to 6 in the Eagles non-league win on Monday.

The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bangor for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Ellsworth will play a Rams team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Brewer (Brewer, ME). The Rams record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, John Bapst Memorial drops to 0-1 on the year. The Crusaders host Waterville (Waterville, ME) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 27. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
