St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 13-5 in a league battle.

With the victory, St. Rita advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Marist (Chicago, IL) to encounter the RedHawks in a battle on Tuesday, May 6. The RedHawks come into the battle with a record of 11-2. Marist lost 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)

The Cadets now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saint Ignatius College Prep for a battle on Thursday, May 8. Marmion will encounter a Wolfpack team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 4-2.
