In Monday's non-league contest, the host Hersey Huskies lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 win over the Maine South Hawks.

The Huskies (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Latin (Chicago, IL). The Romans enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Latin was nipped by Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL), 13-4, in a non-league contest.
