In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Lakota East Thunderhawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-5 triumph over the Kings Knights.

The Thunderhawks (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Firebirds go into the Region 4 challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Lakota West held off Fairfield (Fairfield, OH), 16-4, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights clash with the Walnut Hills Eagles (Cincinnati, OH) in a Region 4 challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. Kings will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Seven Hills (Cincinnati, OH).
