The Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) lacrosse nudged the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 12-11 in Monday's league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bangor for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 7. Mt. Blue will face a Rams squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to Portland (Portland, ME). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Mt. Ararat falls to 1-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lewiston (Lewiston, ME) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Lewiston lost 16-3 in their recent non-league outing against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)
