In Monday's non-league match, the host Abington Green Wave softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Sandwich Blue Knights.

The Green Wave (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Middleborough (Middleborough, MA). The Sachems go into the South Shore - Pilgrim match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Middleborough was routed by East Bridgewater (East Bridgewater, MA), 4-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Blue Knights battle the Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 9. Sandwich will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.
