Indiana High School Softball - Bellmont bounces Huntington North

In Thursday's league match, the host Bellmont Braves softball team scored a tight 13-8 win over the Huntington North Vikings.

The Braves (6-9) will now prepare for their match against New Haven (New Haven, IN). The Bulldogs come into the Northeast Eight match with a 2-14 record. In their last match, New Haven was routed by Garrett (Garrett, IN), 6-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Marion Giants (Marion, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 9. Huntington North will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Giants come into the match with a 5-10 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Southwood (Wabash, IN).
