The Orangeburg Prep Indians triumphed over the host Ben Lippen Falcons softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Orangeburg Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 12-4 non-league win over St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC).

The Falcons (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC). The Swampcats enter the non-league challenge with a 20-3 record. In their last challenge, Laurence Manning Academy edged Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC), 16-2, in a non-league challenge.
