The Gainesville Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Blue Eye Bulldogs to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fordland for a Class 1 District 4 battle on Wednesday, May 7. Gainesville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 13-6 league win over Cabool (Cabool, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Blue Eye moves to 2-12 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hurley (Hurley, MO) to confront the Tigers in a Class 1 District 5 battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 9-6. Hurley won 19-4 in their recent league battle against Verona (Verona, MO)
