The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) and the host Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL), observed Nashville's softball team notch a victory over Breese Central by a tally of 20-12.

The Hornets (2-17) will now prepare for their bout against Okawville (Okawville, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Okawville was routed by Chester (Chester, IL), 4-2, in a league bout.
