In Monday's non-league test, the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), by a count of 15-0.

Next, the Knights meet the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 7. Metro-East Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Piasa Birds go into the test with a 12-3 record after their 6-5 league win over Pana (Pana, IL).

The Comanches (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Gibault Catholic toppled East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL), 16-1, in a non-league test.
