In Monday's non-league test, the Dakota Indians (Dakota, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL), by a tally of 11-1.

Next, the Indians clash with the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North test, on Tuesday, May 6. Dakota will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 9-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL).

The Sobos (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Broncos go into the non-league test with a 20-5 record. In their last test, Orangeville prevailed over Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL), 11-2, in a league test.
