In Monday's non-league test, the Excel Panthers (Excel, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southside Panthers (Selma, AL), by a tally of 19-3.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Mobile Christian Leopards (Mobile, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 5. Excel will attempt to advance on its 21-16 season record. The Leopards go into the test with a 16-17 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Mobile, AL).
The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 46-7 record. In their last test, Wicksburg prevailed over Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 11-0, in a non-league test.
