The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Forsyth Panthers (Forsyth, MO) and the host Miller Cardinals (Miller, MO), observed Forsyth's softball team get by Miller by a tally of 13-9.

The Panthers (11-15) will now prepare for their bout against Marionville (Marionville, MO). The Comets go into the Class 2 District 5 bout with a 13-12 record. In their last bout, Marionville tipped Southwest (Washburn, MO), 18-6, in a non-league battle.

With the loss, Miller moves to 15-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Stockton (Stockton, MO) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 16-7. Stockton won 13-10 in their recent non-league battle against Lamar (Lamar, MO)
