The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) and the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), observed Knoxville's softball team notch a victory over Galesburg by a tally of 19-0.

The Blue Bullets (17-5) will now prepare for their bout against Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL). The Tornadoes go into the Lincoln Trail bout with a 8-12 record. In their last bout, Abingdon/Avon was routed by Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 4-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Silver Streaks battle the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) in a Western Big 6 bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Galesburg will attempt to advance on its 0-24 season record. The Golden Warriors go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 6-5 league win over East Moline United (East Moline, IL).
