California High School Softball - Merced bounces Gregori

May 5, 2025: Modesto, CA 95356

The Merced Bears softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Gregori Jaguars to 3 in the Bears non-league win on Monday.

The Bears now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Valley for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. Merced will confront a Hawks team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 13-14.

With the loss, Gregori moves to 16-10 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Modesto (Modesto, CA) to confront the Panthers in a Central California Athletic battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 8-17. Modesto won 9-6 in their recent league battle against Pitman (Turlock, CA)
