Minnesota High School Softball - Minnewaska Area bounces Hancock

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) and the host Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN), observed Minnewaska Area's softball team notch a victory over Hancock by a tally of 17-7.

The Lakers (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks go into the West Central bout with a 1-11 record. In their last bout, Montevideo was routed by Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 21-10, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Owls battle the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 9. Hancock will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.
