The Lake Forest Spartans overwhelmed the host St. Georges Tech Hawks softball squad by a count of 11-2 in Monday's non-league game.
With the triumph, Lake Forest improves its record to 16-0 on the year. The Spartans host Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE) to play the Raiders in a Henlopen South game on Tuesday, May 6. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 8-6. Woodbridge won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Ursuline Academy (Wilmington, DE)
The Hawks now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Delaware Military Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 6. St. Georges Tech will play a Seahawks squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-4.
