The Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots softball team scored 26 runs and held the visiting Larimore Polar Bears to 4 in the Patriots league win on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grafton for a Class B - Region 2 battle on Tuesday, May 6. Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg will encounter a Spoilers team coming off a 19-10 league win over Northern Lights (St. John, ND). The Spoilers record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Larimore moves to 0-5 on the season. The Polar bears travel to Tioga (Tioga, ND) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 5-1. Tioga lost 25-7 in their recent league battle against Ray (Ray, ND)
