The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) and the host Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME), observed Orono's softball team get by Mattanawcook by a tally of 5-1.

The Riots (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers go into the Class C North bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Dexter tipped Penquis Valley (Milo, ME), 14-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lynx clash with the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) in a Class C North bout, on Wednesday, May 7. Mattanawcook will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Machias (Machias, ME).
