The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL) and the visiting North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL), observed Tri-City's softball team prevail over North Greene by a tally of 11-0.

The Tornadoes (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators go into the non-league bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Springfield knocked off Taylorville (Taylorville, IL), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. North Greene will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Crimsons go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL).
