The Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) softball nipped the host St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN), 6-5 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Spartans now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minneapolis Southwest for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 6. Richfield will encounter a Lakers team coming off a 12-2 league win over Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, St. Paul Central moves to 6-4 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Highland Park (St. Paul, MN) to encounter the Scots in a St. Paul City outing on Wednesday, May 7. The Scots come into the outing with a record of 5-7. Highland Park lost 4-3 in their recent non-league outing against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN)
