The Brandywine Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles to 12 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dickinson for a Blue Hen - Flight B battle on Thursday, May 7. Brandywine will confront a Rams team coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Christiana (Newark, DE). The Rams record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Hodgson Vo-Tech moves to 4-8 on the season. The Eagles host Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 7. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 6-12. Delcastle Technical lost 12-1 in their recent non-league battle against Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE)
